Synopsis

After learning from the fortune teller Inkarmat where Asirpa has gone, Sugimoto and his group—including Tanigaki, Cikapasi, and two soldiers from the Seventh Division—head to Karafuto to track her down. They push further into the frozen Russian wilderness, chasing after any lead they can find. Asirpa, meanwhile, has no idea what really happened at Abashiri Prison. Shaken by the revelation of her father Wilk's past, she decides to follow his old friend Kiroranke to Wilk's birthplace, hoping to understand why he did what he did. What she doesn't know is that Kiroranke and the skilled sniper Ogata are plotting something behind the scenes. By now, all the different groups hunting for the tattooed skins have figured out the same thing: even if they collect all 24 pieces of the map, they're worthless without Asirpa herself. She's become the key to everything. Knowing how much danger she's in, Sugimoto becomes obsessed with reaching her first—before the other factions can use her for their own purposes.
