Shiraishi is one of the 24 Abashiri convicts bearing the Ainu treasure map tattooed across his skin—courtesy of Noppera-Bou. He's earned the nickname "Escape King" through a straightforward reason: the guy's genuinely brilliant at breaking out of prisons, especially the supposedly inescapable ones.
His personality is pretty laid-back and silly. Rather than fight his way out of trouble, he'd much rather slip away unnoticed. He knows he's not the strongest person around, so running is his default move—but what he is confident about is getting out of any restraint you could put him in. This gives him an almost unsettling calm when things get tense. With enough time, he can mess with his guards' heads, figure them out, and get them working for him without them really realizing it.
