Synopsis

Hanae Ashiya's first week of high school goes downhill fast—he spends it all in the infirmary because of some weird fuzzy creature that latched onto him right before school started. The thing just keeps getting bigger and making him sicker. Desperate, Hanae finds a flyer for an exorcist who deals with youkai and calls the number. It leads him to the Mononokean, a tea room that mysteriously appears next to the infirmary. The guy who runs it, Haruitsuki Abeno, agrees to help but wants payment. Problem is, Hanae can't afford it, so he ends up working at the Mononokean to pay off the debt. Even worse? Abeno is actually one of his classmates. Now Hanae's stuck working with his reluctant boss, sending all kinds of dangerous and bizarre youkai back to the Underworld one job at a time.
