Synopsis

Yoshino Koharu just graduated and can't wait to escape her boring rural life for Tokyo. After striking out on job interviews, she finally lands a part-time gig as the "queen" of Chupakabura Kingdom, a shabby local theme park in the small town of Manoyama. Plot twist: they actually hired her by mistake—someone mixed her up with a celebrity. With nowhere else to go, Yoshino decides to make the best of it and help the town's tourism board save Manoyama from dying out. She teams up with locals on various projects to show off what makes the town special, determined to inject some life back into the place. At its core, Sakura Quest is about a close community trying to move forward without losing the traditions and relationships that make them who they are.
