Synopsis

A decade has passed since the Iga and Kouga clans ended their bitter ninja war and made peace. Now their successors, Hachirou Kouga and Hibiki Iga, have a real shot at being together—except not everyone's buying it. The problem is nobody can agree on what actually went down in that final battle between Gennosuke and Oboro, the last generation's leaders. The conflicting accounts leave Tadanaga Tokugawa, who backed the Kouga side, feeling like he got screwed over. As old tensions flare up again, the political situation gets messy fast, and suddenly Hachirou and Hibiki are facing the same kind of obstacles that kept their predecessors apart. History's repeating itself, and they're caught in the middle.
