Synopsis

The fourth film takes the classic Japan-versus-Europe showdown global. Instead of a simple two-team match, they organize a world cup featuring four teams: Japan, the USA, a combined Europe squad, and a combined South America squad. Japan crushes the USA 3-0 in their opening game, while Europe gets upset by South America 3-2. In the finals, South America unveils their secret weapon—a supremely talented player named Carlos Santana, billed as a "soccer cyborg" who seems virtually unstoppable. Japan's go-to moves like Hyuga's Tiger Shot and Tsubasa's Top Spin prove completely useless against him at first. But as the match goes on, the Japanese team starts to click and work together more cohesively, eventually pulling off a hard-fought victory.
