Synopsis

During Japan's chaotic Sengoku period, warlords are locked in a brutal struggle for dominance. Nobunaga Oda—the "Demon King of Owari"—has emerged as the strongest of them all, ruthlessly eliminating anyone who stands between him and total control. Only two generals have the courage to challenge him: Masamune Date, the "One-eyed Dragon of Oshu," and Yukimura Sanada, a fiercely talented Takeda warrior. Both want to stop Oda from unifying the country, but they can't stand each other. They're evenly matched as fighters, and that mutual respect somehow twists into a bitter rivalry that keeps them from actually working together. It's the perfect opportunity for Oda to pick them off one by one. When Oda's army starts closing in on their lands, Masamune and Yukimura finally have no choice but to set aside their differences and unite against him.
