Synopsis

Fukuoka might seem peaceful on the surface, but it's actually crawling with killers, detectives, and professional revenge seekers. Detective Zenji Banba is one of them—a laid-back, observant guy who spends his time investigating hitman operations around the city. He's not alone in having issues with these organizations, though. Xianming Lin, a crossdressing hitman working for one of them, is getting sick of barely scraping by with almost no jobs and terrible pay. Things come to a head when Lin's target kills himself before Lin can get to him. His company stiffs him—refuses to pay almost anything despite the original contract. Desperate and furious, Lin takes another job: assassinating Banba himself, since his bosses think the detective's been messing with their profits. But when Banba shows up at home and finds Lin waiting, the hitman doesn't even try to kill him. Instead, he makes Banba an offer: team up and work together. The question is whether Banba will take the deal—and what Lin's actually planning to do with the underground world of Fukuoka.
