Banba comes across as pretty laid-back—the type who doesn't sweat the small stuff, including how his place looks or what he's wearing. His apartment's general state of disarray is a running source of friction with Lin. He's genuinely patient and easygoing most of the time, but baseball is basically his one thing where he loses that chill. He gets intense about the sport, especially when coaching Xianming Lin, who's still figuring things out on the team.
