Synopsis

Nobita and his friends spend their summer vacation exploring the Pacific Ocean with Doraemon's help. When Jaian and Suneo take an underwater vehicle to hunt for treasure in the Atlantic, things quickly go wrong—Doraemon's environmental protection system runs out of power, leaving them exposed to the dangers of the sea. They're saved by mysterious marine creatures who turn out to be from the lost kingdom of Mu. It soon becomes clear that the group's rescue was urgent for a reason. Another underwater civilization, Atlantis, has fallen under robot control, and those robots have mistaken a volcanic eruption for an invasion. Now they're planning to destroy Earth with nuclear weapons. With help from a local Mu kid, Nobita and his crew try to stop the robots, but they end up captured anyway. Just when things look hopeless, Doraemon's robotic submarine makes the ultimate sacrifice—it destroys the central computer controlling both the robot army and the weapons. Back in Mu, the group is celebrated as heroes.
