Synopsis

It's 2006, and Satoru Gojou and Suguru Getou are tearing through their days at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School—bickering constantly, but utterly inseparable. As two of the most powerful Special Grade sorcerers around, they're convinced nothing can stop them. When they're assigned to escort a girl named Riko Amanai to a crucial figure in the jujutsu world, what should be straightforward becomes anything but. The mission forces them to confront some seriously uncomfortable moral questions, and the fallout threatens what little trust exists between sorcerers and regular people. Fast forward twelve years. Gojou and Getou have gone their separate ways, and the jujutsu world's gotten a lot darker. Curses—manifestations of human negativity—are getting stronger and more intelligent by the day. Now they're organizing. Led by an incredibly powerful ancient cursed spirit, they've decided their goal is simple: wipe out humanity and create a world for cursed energy users alone. They know their best shot at winning is taking out Gojou, the strongest sorcerer alive. So on Halloween night at Shibuya Station, they make their move. Sorcerers split up into teams and dive into battle, ready to give everything they've got to protect both civilians and their own kind.
