Suguru is a tall, lean guy with long black hair—most of it tied up in a bun, with the rest falling down his back. He's got thin black eyes, prominent bangs that sometimes cover his left eye, and notably large earlobes that can handle fairly substantial earrings. Back when he was a student in 2006, his hair was shorter and mostly pulled up, though the bangs stayed the same. Once he went full curse user in August 2007, his hair grew out to match the length he sports by 2017. As a jujutsu student, he wore the standard school uniform. These days, posing as a Buddhist monk, he's gone full religious aesthetic: a gold-colored kāṣāya draped over black yukata robes, white tabi socks, and zōri sandals to complete the look.
Suguru's whole thing is despising non-sorcerers—he just calls them "monkeys." He genuinely believed sorcerers are the superior species and humanity's natural next step. Toward regular humans, he was smug and openly contemptuous, often disguising himself to get close to vulnerable cursed people. He was so disgusted by non-sorcerers that he'd spray himself down to wash off what he called the "monkey stench." In his mind, ordinary people only serve two purposes: making money or collecting curses for him to exorcise. If they stopped being useful? He'd let curses kill them without blinking.
