Synopsis

Il Palazzo runs the ACROSS organization with an iron fist, and he's got his sights set on conquering Fukuoka. Sure, he'd love to take over the world, but he's realistic enough to start with a city. He assigns Excel and Hyatt, his two most devoted officers, to make it happen—though "devoted" might be generous considering how badly they botch literally everything. Standing between them and victory is the City Security division: a ragtag team of three pretty normal guys, one terrifyingly competent woman, and various robots. You'd think Excel and Hyatt would at least have a shot, but nope. Every single mission goes sideways, usually in a blaze of explosions and bodies. The two of them have a real talent for screwing up in the most spectacular ways possible. Heppoko Jikken Animation Excel♥Saga is basically just watching Excel and Hyatt stumble from one disaster to the next, somehow making the simplest tasks into absolute chaos.
