Synopsis

Scientists uncover a Mew fossil and use it to create Mewtwo, a Legendary Pokémon engineered as the ultimate weapon. Once Mewtwo realizes what it is and how it was made, it turns on its creators, consumed by rage and a need for revenge. Ash, Pikachu, and the gang end up caught in the middle of its destructive rampage, forced to face off against a being far more powerful than anything they've encountered. As the fate of the entire Pokémon world hangs in the balance, our heroes have to figure out how to stop Mewtwo—and somehow, Mewtwo itself needs to find a reason to exist beyond anger and revenge.
