MF Ghost Season 2
MF Ghost 2nd Season
The second race of the MFG tournament is happening at Lake Ashinoko, one of the toughest tracks around. Kanata Katagiri's Toyota 86 GT isn't exactly powerful compared to the competition, but some smart tuning gets him up into qualifying position fast. Then a downpour hits on the final racing day, making the track treacherous and giving everyone tire problems. Kanata's got the skills and experience to handle it though. He pulls some genuinely risky moves and manages to get ahead of most of the field—impressing pretty much everyone. The problem is he's still stuck behind two serious threats: Michael Beckenbauer, who won the last race, and Kouki Sawatari, who holds the Lake Ashinoko course record. Even if Kanata can catch up to them, he's got hungry drivers breathing down his neck in the mirrors, just waiting for him to slip up so they can pounce.
