Synopsis

Kantarou could see demons from childhood, but it isolated him—other kids didn't have the ability, and they bullied him for it. Rather than let that break him, he found friendship with the demons instead. He became genuinely attached to them. Then one day he heard about the strongest demon in existence: the ogre-eating Tengu. Kantarou was captivated. He decided right then that he'd find this legendary creature and, when he did, he'd call him Haruka. So he set out searching, taking work as a folklore writer and demon-buster to support himself while he hunted. For years he came up empty. Until one job led him to a nearby shrine rumored to be the sealing place of the ogre-eating Tengu. Finally, a real lead.
