Synopsis

In a world where magic users are marked by special symbols on their faces, anyone without magical abilities gets killed off to keep society "pure." But Mash Burnedead is a weird exception—he's an unmarked kid living quietly in the forest with his dad, spending his days doing one-armed pushups and casually eating cream puffs. The catch? Despite having no magic whatsoever, he's absurdly strong. Things go downhill when authorities find out about him. They give him a choice: become a Divine Visionary (which would force everyone to accept him) or face execution. To save his family, Mash gets into Easton Magic Academy, an elite school that normally only admits the most talented mages. Now he's stuck competing against prodigies and geniuses while being completely magic-less, which means he'll have to rely on the one thing he's actually got going for him—pure physical strength.
