Synopsis

Centuries ago, demons called Oni slaughtered humans for sport until a lone warrior named Momotarou stood against them. But that war was far from over. Fast forward thousands of years. Shiki Ichinose is a hot-headed gun nut living a pretty normal life—until he gets kicked out of school. Then everything goes downhill. Some guy attacks him out of nowhere, and his adoptive dad Tsuyoshi saves him. As they're running for their lives, Tsuyoshi drops a bomb: Shiki's actually descended from the Oni. And both Tsuyoshi and their attacker? They're from the Momotarou bloodline. The two Momotarou fighters go at it hard. Tsuyoshi dies protecting Shiki, and the loss awakens something in him—his Oni blood kicks in, giving him insane power but sending him into an uncontrollable rage. The enemy gets away, but Naito Mudano, an Oni teacher at Rasetsu Academy, notices Shiki and decides to help. Now Shiki has to learn to control this dangerous new strength if he's ever going to get revenge for his father.
