Jin Kougasaki is an Oni attending Rasetsu Academy. He's got light hair and distinctive slanted eyes, usually wearing the standard school uniform along with a face mask—mostly to hide the extensive scars covering his body, particularly around his lower jaw. His father, Momoido Hayate, inflicted those scars on him as a kid, and they've since been stitched up.
Personality-wise, Jin comes across as composed and analytical, the type to quickly size up whatever's thrown at him. That said, he's got a short fuse when people or circumstances get in his way, and he can be pretty difficult to work with—something that showed up pretty clearly during his first assignment. Underneath the cold exterior and temper, though, there's room for genuine kindness and gratitude. The deaths of his mother and older sister hit him hard, so he's surprisingly sentimental about loss and family stuff.
