Synopsis

Goro Kumagaya is a tall middle-school goalkeeper with his heart set on joining Yokonan High School, one of the country's top football programs. An accident derails his plans, and he ends up at Kawasaki High instead—a school with basically no football reputation. There he meets three talented players: Shingo, Hideki, and Kazuhito Oda. Together, the four of them throw themselves into reviving Kawasaki's football club, determined to take on Yokonan and every other school standing in their way to become champions. Every loss or obstacle just pushes them to get better. Along the way, they discover Goro's real strength isn't in goal—he's actually a natural striker.
