Seiji Okuda
Born April 18, 1943 in Tokyo, Seiji Okuda is a veteran animator and director who's been working in the industry since the early days of anime. He's probably best known for his work as a storyboarder, which remains his primary focus in freelance work today. He's also a JAniCA member.
Early in his career, Okuda animated on the original Gigantor series, then moved through various studios including TCJ, Tatsunoko, and Art Fresh. His directorial debut was Psycho Armor Gobarian. In the 2000s, he founded Project Team Eikyuukikan as a collaborative office for multiple animators, though he eventually dissolved the operation in October 2009 and returned to freelancing.
Note: Don't confuse him with the movie producer also named Okuda Seiji—different person entirely.
