Synopsis

Nanoka stumbles through a portal into Japan's Taisho era and barely escapes a grotesque yokai thanks to an exorcist named Mao. Back in the present day, she realizes she's gained some seriously weird new powers. Desperate for answers, she heads back to the past—and immediately gets pulled into Mao's investigation of a series of brutal murders. The more she digs, the more she uncovers. Turns out Mao's got a curse hanging over his head from a cat demon named Byoki, and his sword is cursed too. Whoever tries to use it other than Mao is basically signing their own death warrant. But when Mao's about to die, Nanoka grabs the blade and swings anyway.
