Synopsis

It's 2016, and humanity's done for—incinerated by the Mage King Solomon. Chaldea, a secret organization dedicated to preserving mankind's future, saw it coming back in 2015. Their solution? Operation Grand Order, which involves traveling through time to fix the Singularities created by Holy Grails scattered across history. After successfully clearing six Singularities using Rayshift technology, Chaldea's last Master, Ritsuka Fujimaru, and his demi-servant Mash Kyrielight are heading to their toughest mission yet: ancient Mesopotamia in 2655 B.C., back when gods were still walking around. What they find is a nightmare—Demonic Beasts are everywhere, slaughtering people and destroying towns. The only thing standing between humanity and extinction is Uruk, a fortress city that's basically the last line of defense. The city's being run by Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes himself. He's ditched his usual attitude to become a mage and summon Heroic Spirits to fight the beasts. Now Ritsuka, Mash, Gilgamesh, and the summoned servants have to hold the line against endless waves of magical creatures while dealing with the Three Goddess Alliance, who want to wipe out humanity completely. But even that's not the real problem—something far worse is stirring, and it's about to wake up.
