Synopsis

Rikka Takanashi is still deep in her chuunibyou phase—you know, that delusion thing where you think you're special and the world works differently around you—even though she's a third-year high school student now. She and Yuuta Togashi have been together for six months, and with college entrance exams coming up, they're both hoping to get into the same school. Then Rikka's older sister Tooka drops a bomb: she's found a job in Italy and wants to take Rikka with her. Neither Yuuta nor Rikka can handle the idea of being separated, so they panic. After talking it over with their friends, they come up with a desperate solution: they'll elope and run away across Japan to keep Rikka from leaving the country. Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Movie: Take On Me follows Yuuta and Rikka on this journey as they try to stop the move to Italy. Whether they actually pull it off is another question entirely.
