Synopsis

Kenta, an aspiring Pokemon master, reunites with his childhood friend Marina at a Pokemon Center to test their skills against each other. Their battle gets cut short when a thunderstorm rolls in, bringing two Team Rocket members—Bashou and Buson—who are running a scheme involving the Crystal System, a device that lures Electric-type Pokemon. They're working under Professor Shiranui to catch Pokemon and deliver them to Sakaki. When Kenta and Marina discover what's happening, they try to shut it down, but things escalate dramatically once the legendary Pokemon Raikou gets captured.
