Zenigata crashes a politician's birthday party to investigate a fake Lupin calling card, only to have Lupin show up for real. Before things can get interesting, masked assassins storm in and start shooting. While chasing Lupin into the courtyard, Zenigata gets shot in the chest by someone wielding Lupin's own Walther P-38—which piques Lupin's curiosity enough to actually care. The assassins turn out to be from a secret island run by corrupt government officials worldwide who use them for their personal agendas. But the Island of Assassins is messier than it looks. When Lupin, Goemon, Jigen, and Fujiko get caught up in the chaos, they stumble onto a conspiracy that's literally splitting the island apart.
