Synopsis

Manga author Shin Karino meets his new neighbor, a four-year-old named Kotarou Satou, who shows up at his door with a box of tissues. The kid's weird—he talks like an adult and apparently lives alone with no parents or family around. He doesn't seem bothered by it either, or interested in relying on anyone. Karino feels bad for him, so he starts keeping an eye on Kotarou, even following him to a bathhouse one day. That's when he realizes the two of them aren't actually that different. As time goes on, Karino and the other people living in their apartment complex warm up to the strange little kid. And maybe Kotarou finds something he's been missing—a real family—in these odd people around him.
