Blue Lock Season 2
Blue Lock vs. U-20 Japan
The Blue Lock project moves into its next phase with just 35 strikers left in contention. A handful of them will get the chance to play in an exhibition match against Japan's current U-20 team—but the stakes are enormous. Win, and they become the new national U-20 squad. Lose, and the entire Blue Lock program gets shut down. Yoichi Isagi is among those still fighting for a spot, wrestling with what he's really capable of as a player. Things get messier from there. The six top prospects have already secured starting positions, leaving the other 29 to battle it out for the remaining slots. To even be considered, each candidate has to pick a partner from the elite six to demonstrate they can work with world-class talent. But these strikers aren't used to playing together—they've spent the whole program developing their individual styles. If they want to actually beat the current U-20 team, they'll need to figure out how to make their different approaches work in sync.
