Synopsis

Team Warrior is an elite anti-terrorism unit within the Neo-Tokyo Police Department. The squad includes Rio, who's perpetually broke; Maya, who loves her guns a little too much; computer whiz Lillica; tech guy Nanvel; and Yuji, their pilot who also happens to be a bit of a pervert. They're all under the command of the mysterious Maki. The team handles whatever gets thrown at them—bodyguard gigs, busting up robbery rings and illegal arms deals, protecting some seriously important tank. Most of their work involves stopping Ruby, a terrorist operative working for some powerful shadowy organization. As things build toward a final confrontation with Ruby, the story gradually reveals how Team Warrior came together in the first place, why Rio joined up despite being so young, and what traumatic event shaped Maki into the leader she is today.
