Kimura Shinichirou is a storyboarder and director best known for his work in animation. Fans often call him Kimushin (キムシン), a shortened version of his name.
He studied oil painting at Osaka University of Arts, originally aiming to become an art teacher before transitioning into animation work. He made his directorial debut on the 1998 series Burn-Up Excess. Over his career, he's worked at J.C.Staff and currently works with Studio Hibari.
