Synopsis

It's the year 2977, and humanity's hit rock bottom. Robots handle everything, people are pacified by subliminal messaging, and the government's basically checked out—more interested in golf and horse racing than actually running things. Captain Herlock isn't having it. He's assembled a crew of rebels on the spaceship Arcadia and taken off to actually live rather than just exist. Then things get worse. An alien force called the Mazone shows up, disguised as mysterious cloaked women who eliminate anyone that gets too close to figuring them out. Tadashi Daiba becomes a target after his scientist father tries to warn the government about the threat—but nobody listens, and the Mazone kills him anyway. Desperate and angry, Tadashi throws in with Herlock's pirate crew. Now they're racing against time to stop the Mazone before they wipe out humanity.
