Synopsis

Aliens called the Oni show up threatening to invade Earth, but they'll back off if a randomly selected human can beat Lum—the Oni leader's hot daughter—in a game of tag. The unlucky winner? Ataru Moroboshi, a lecherous high school guy with a reputation for being, well, unlucky. He's got ten days to grab her horns. Easier said than done when she has actual alien superpowers. Ataru manages to pull it off after Shinobu, his childhood friend, promises to marry him if he wins. The catch? He accidentally grabs her bikini first, then actually gets the horns. But Lum takes this whole thing the wrong way and decides she's the one marrying him, so she moves in. Now Ataru's stuck trying to ditch his clingy alien girlfriend while chasing after Shinobu instead. For a guy who just saved the world, things really couldn't have gone worse.
