Synopsis

Eruruu finds an injured man in the woods with no memory and no name. She takes him in, and her family names him Hakuoro. He's strange—no ears, no tail like everyone else in the village, just a mask he can't remove. But the villagers accept him anyway. Then a rebellion against the emperor breaks out, and suddenly it's on Hakuoro's doorstep. He gets pulled into the conflict trying to protect the people he's grown to care about, all while slowly piecing together who he actually is and why he's so different from everyone around him.
