Synopsis

Rumi Yokoi just wants to get through class without distractions, but her desk mate Toshinari Seki makes that impossible. He's completely checked out from actual schoolwork—instead, he spends his time engineering elaborate setups with whatever's on hand. One day it's an intricate domino course sprawled across his desk, the next it's a full-blown war staged with shogi pieces. Yokoi keeps trying to focus on the lesson, but she can't help getting pulled into watching whatever ridiculous thing Seki's cooking up. Of course, that usually means she's the one who gets caught by the teacher while he flies under the radar. Still, at least class is never boring.
