Tomoko Higashimura
Tomoko Higashimura is a manga artist best known for creating Princess Jellyfish (Kuragehime), a quirky romantic comedy that became a cult favorite. He's also worked on various other series throughout his career.
What's interesting is that his older sister, Akiko Higashimura, is also a mangaka. She's had real success with her own works, particularly Kakukaku Shikajika (a semi-autobiographical piece about her path to becoming a manga artist) and Princess Jellyfish, which she co-created or was heavily involved with depending on the project. The sibling talent for manga is pretty notable in the industry.
