Synopsis

One morning, Nobita hears about some weird stuff happening on the Moon and tells his classmates it's the Moon Rabbit. Nobody believes him, so he tries to prove it by making ricecakes like a rabbit would—and accidentally hits his teacher with one. He gets in trouble, obviously. When he tells Doraemon about it, Doraemon reluctantly pulls out the "Divergent View Badge" to create an atmosphere on the Moon. They sculpt a creature called Moonbit out of animal clay and head back home. Later, Nobita's mom asks him to grab some susuki grass for the Moon Viewing Ceremony. While he's out, he spots a boy and tries to call out to him, but the kid just vanishes. The next day, a new transfer student named Luca shows up at school—and it's the same boy Nobita saw the day before.
