Synopsis

The Fourth Holy Grail War is still wide open, with no clear winner emerging. Church supervisor Risei Kotomine calls on the remaining Masters and Servants to put aside their differences and face a catastrophic threat—one that could destroy the entire war and level Fuyuki City in the process. For a moment, an uneasy alliance forms. It doesn't last. As the pressure mounts, the Masters reveal exactly how far they're willing to go, ethics be damned. Things fall apart between Kiritsugu and Saber as their fundamental disagreements about heroism and honor create an unbridgeable rift. At the same time, Kirei Kotomine finds an unexpected connection with one of the Servants—a bond that feeds his desperate search for meaning. By the time the war winds down to its final moments, the line between winning and losing has become impossible to see clearly. Victory carries a cost that changes everything.
