Synopsis

Lupin III realizes his latest casino haul is made up of "Gothic Bills"—legendary counterfeits so perfect they're basically indistinguishable from the real thing. He and Jigen head to the tiny nation of Cagliostro to track down where they're coming from. On the way, they rescue a girl being chased at high speed, who turns out to be Clarisse, the Duke's daughter. She's fleeing from Count Cagliostro, who's trying to force her into marriage so he can get his hands on her family's treasure. Lupin's never been one to ignore a girl in trouble, so he decides to help. Before long, Goemon, Fujiko, and Zenigata all show up with their own reasons for being involved. As everyone converges on Cagliostro Castle, Lupin starts remembering a visit he made there a decade earlier—and the castle's secrets start coming to light.
