Synopsis

Raimon Middle School's soccer club, Inazuma Eleven, is on life support—barely hanging on and close to getting shut down completely. Other schools across Japan are fighting it out for the top spot, but Raimon's not even in the conversation anymore. Enter Mamoru Endou, grandson of the team's legendary first-generation goalkeeper and captain, who's decided he's going to save the club single-handedly. Spoiler alert: he can't do it alone. His best shot is tracking down Shuuya Gouenji, an incredibly talented player who's basically given up on soccer. Mamoru's convinced he can get Shuuya and a bunch of other recruits to join up, and he'll do whatever it takes to make it happen. The question is whether his determination and heart are actually enough to bring a dying team back to life—or if Raimon's already too far gone.
