He captained Zeus Junior High's soccer team, which lived up to its mythological name by dominating matches—until running into the Raimon Eleven and getting knocked out of the tournament. Later in the series, he switched sides and joined Raimon to take on Aliea Academy, though he took a serious hit during the campaign and ended up hospitalized.
When the World Championship rolled around, Terumi represented Red Dragon, Korea's national team, only to face off against Inazuma Japan (basically Raimon's all-star lineup) and come up short again.
His signature moves evolved over time. Early on he relied on Heaven's Time and God Knows. By Season 3, he'd upgraded to True God Knows, God Break, and Chaos Break.
