It's been three decades since humanity first defeated the Invaders. A.E.G.I.S has basically fallen apart—what's left is just a small underground cell of Gate Keepers trying to keep humanity from getting wiped out. One of their members, Ayane Isuzu, is pretty much done with society at this point, though she still fights the Invaders mostly because she hates her father. Then she finds out that Machine General and Devil Count are back, except now there's some mysterious ghost girl with them. So Ayane and what's left of A.E.G.I.S have to figure out how to stop them and save the world again.
