Yoshiji Kigami was a Japanese animator and director who spent most of his career at Kyoto Animation. He started out at Shin-Ei Douga before moving to Animaruya, but became best known for his long tenure at Kyoto Animation.
He worked under different names depending on the role: Fumio Tada when credited as animation director, and Ichirou Miyoshi when handling episode direction and storyboarding on Kyoto Animation's TV series.
Kigami died in 2019 at age 61 in the arson attack on Kyoto Animation's Studio No. 1 building.
