Synopsis

Joutarou Kuujou has been sitting in a Japanese jail cell for years, refusing to leave despite having committed no crime. He's convinced he's possessed by an evil spirit that could hurt anyone around him. When his worried mother Holy asks his grandfather Joseph Joestar to get him out, Joseph drops some knowledge on him—that "evil spirit" is actually called a Stand, a manifestation of your fighting spirit that takes physical form and can be weaponized in all kinds of ways. After Joseph's friend Muhammad Avdol throws down with Joutarou to prove a point, he finally gets dragged out of the cell and starts learning how to use his Stand. Things get serious fast. When a Stand awakens in Holy and starts killing her from the inside with only 50 days to live, Joutarou and his grandfather have to track down the immortal vampire responsible and take him out. That means a journey across the world to Cairo, Egypt, facing off against dangerous Stand users who want them dead at every turn. Fail, and humanity's done for.
