Ace pilot Elle Kusomoto takes the experimental MADOX-01 battle-suit for a test run and absolutely demolishes an attacking tank force, completely humiliating Lt. Kilgore—Japan's most famous tank commander—in the process. Kilgore's furious and swears he'll have his revenge. He gets his chance when the MADOX prototype literally falls off a truck in the middle of Tokyo. The suit bounces around—off the truck, off a bridge, and into the back of another truck—before ending up in the hands of college student Koji Sujimoto. Curious about the thing, Koji decides to tinker with it without bothering to read the manual. Big mistake. He gets locked inside the suit and suddenly finds himself tearing through downtown Tokyo with no idea how to stop.
