When the Gates of Hell burst open and demons start pouring out to wreak havoc, most people panic. Touka Scott, a weird guy who mainly cares about his radish farm, doesn't really care—until a demon goes after Yuna, his childhood friend. The legendary hero Sion Blandan shows up and kills the thing, but then immediately dies after stepping into a trap Touka had set around his farm. Anri Haysworth, Sion's necromancer partner, decides the best fix is to resurrect Sion by shoving Touka's soul into his dead body. So now Touka's stuck in the body of the world's greatest hero, complete with all the expectations that come with it. He has to reseal the Gates of Hell, take down the demon threat, and basically save everyone. With Yuna and Anri backing him up, Touka figures out how to live in this new skin while dealing with the enormous legacy he's inherited.
