Synopsis

Momo Ayase, a popular high schooler going through a rough breakup, decides to help Ken Takakura when she sees him getting bullied. He takes this as a sign they're meant to be friends—especially since he's obsessed with aliens and UFOs. Problem is, Momo's into the occult and paranormal stuff, and she's convinced aliens aren't real. So naturally, they end up rivals, each dead set on proving the other completely wrong. But despite constantly butting heads over their beliefs, something clicks between them. As they get pulled into one bizarre supernatural encounter after another—fighting urban legends, dealing with paranormal entities, the whole deal—they realize they actually work well together. They both start developing weird superhuman abilities that complement each other perfectly. Before long, they're wondering if maybe their partnership is turning into something deeper than just trying to survive the next creepy thing that comes their way.
