Synopsis

Baki Hanma's gotten bored out of his mind. He's already the strongest kid around, beat his dad Yuujirou, and defends his title at the Kourakuen Underground Arena without breaking a sweat—literally fighting with a yawn. His friends and mentors are stuck in the same rut, going through the motions of training but without any real drive. Then Japan gets hit with some crazy news: scientists have successfully cloned Musashi Miyamoto, the legendary samurai. The resurrected warrior is pumped to test himself against Baki and Tokyo's other top fighters, but he's completely out of place in the modern world. He's obsessed with his old-school ideals of honor and dueling to the death, which doesn't jibe well with how peaceful things have become. As Musashi cuts through Baki's friends trying to make his way to the top, he naturally ends up on a collision course with Baki himself. And honestly? Baki's thrilled about it. Finally, someone who can actually challenge him. The two go head-to-head.
