Synopsis

After dealing with a bunch of crazy stuff, mercenary Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori—a girl with special abilities—finally get to go back to being normal high school students. Sousuke's trying to fit in with civilians while secretly carrying out his military duties, and Kaname does her best to support him, even when his soldier mentality makes her want to strangle him. But things don't stay peaceful for long. A terrorist group called Amalgam shows up, and Mithril starts falling apart from the inside with infighting and betrayals. To top it off, new and seriously dangerous military mechas hit the scene, and suddenly the whole world's safety is on the line. With everything falling apart around them and their own personal demons to deal with, can Kaname and Sousuke figure out what the right move is and actually change where they're headed?
