Synopsis

Food Wars: The Central Arc Tootsuki Culinary Academy has fallen into dark times. Azami Nakiri orchestrated a coup through the Elite Ten Council and took over as director, forcing students to abandon their creativity and cook only according to his rigid "true gourmet" philosophy. Anyone who resists faces expulsion. Souma Yukihira isn't about to accept that. He and the other residents of Polar Star Dormitory team up with rebellious first-years—including Erina Nakiri, the Elite Ten's tenth seat—to fight back against Azami's regime. It won't be easy though. They're up against corrupt teachers, a shadowy organization called Central pulling strings behind the scenes, and constant schemes designed to get them kicked out of school. Their only option is to stick together and outwork their enemies at every turn.
