Synopsis

Totta finds a weird fishing rod at his father's grave and decides to try it out. Turns out it doesn't fish for regular fish—it pulls "bar souls" straight out of the barcodes on everyday stuff like ramen, drinks, and candy. With this Bakutsuri Bar Rod in hand, Totta discovers a whole new world of fishing that's way more interesting than the normal kind. He teams up with Potepen, a creature he fished out of a bag of potato chips, and the two set off to catch the strongest bar souls they can find.
